From his/her traces in life, experiences, expressions, creations...The way he/she talks, he/she moves, from his/her stories, his/her drawings, when suddenly he gives you a red rose or when she gives you a book in "Sant Jordi" ? You just have to open your eyes with some interest or they say just close them and you’ll see..
“Read Me “ is an exhibition by artists and designers who are open to be "read" through their creations.
Mitte celebrates the month of " Sant Jordi" inviting you to discover the stories behind these passionate artists.

Como se lee a alguien? Quizás a partir de sus huellas, experiencias, expresiones, creaciones ... Por la forma en que habla, se mueve, a partir de sus cuentos, dibujos, cuando de repente te regala una rosa o un libro en "Sant Jordi" ... Sólo tienes que abrir los ojos con un cierto interés o quizás, cierra los ojos y verás ...
"Read Me" es una exposición de artistas y diseñadores abiertos para ser "leídos" a través de su obra.

Yvette Hawkins is a visual artist, arts project manager and travelling curator.
Yvette makes tactile, engaging and textural sculptures and installations that explore suggestion and secrecy. Her work is concerned with the physical acts of looking, reading and listening encouraging viewers to consciously be aware of their surroundings, controlling and manipulating the way things can be seen, read and heard.
Yvette Hawkins es una artista visual, director de arte y comisaria viajante.
Yvette hace esculturas táctiles, atractivas y de textura y las instalaciones que exploran la sugestión y el secreto. Su trabajo se refiere a los actos físicos de ver, leer y escuchar los espectadores animando a ser consciente de su entorno, controlando y manipulando las cosas como se puede ver, leer y escuchar
Christina Mitrentse - Add To My Library Vol.II & III
Mitte Gallery is pleased to present a selection of limited edition prints, drawings and book sculptures as part of Add To My Library international book art project initiative,by multidisciplinary London based artist Christina Mitrentse. The works allude to an idiosyncratic institution designed to provoke changes in the function of the material book and stimulate debate on the History of the Book Destruction while they invite the viewers to re-contextualise bibliographic experience.
